The Chicago Sports Spectacular convention in Rosemont is ready to host former MLB MVP, Sammy Sosa. Sosa, 55, will appear on the convention the weekend of March 16-17 on the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont for what’s being labeled as his “first-ever public autograph show appearance.” Former Major League Baseball right-fielder will appear for Chicago Sports Spectacular. “Looking forward to seeing you,” Sosa told Chicago sports fans in a video message on X, formerly Twitter.

A former Major League Baseball MVP, the 7-time All-Star and Home Run Derby champion was one among the league’s strongest sluggers within the Nineties. Sosa played three years for the Chicago White Sox and 13 years for the Chicago Cubs over the course of his two-decade-long profession. The Cubs great most recently missed the cut for the organization’s Hall of Fame after being considered on the team’s ballot. Kerry Wood and Aramis Ramirez were ultimately chosen.

Other guests announced for the signing convention include Hall of Famers of their respective sports, Toni Kukoc, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Mike Tyson. More names are expected to be announced in the approaching weeks.

Ticket prices for the event will not be yet available. Click here for extra details.
