WILMETTE

May 16

• A utility vehicle reportedly was stolen from a park district maintenance shed overnight at Gillson Park, 700 Michigan Ave. A police officer found the vehicle parked, running and unoccupied near the beach.

May 15

• An individual was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and causing a car accident at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Poplar Drive. The driver of another vehicle in the crash reportedly was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening injury. The arrestee’s license reportedly was revoked because of a previous DUI.

May 14

• Two individuals were arrested for allegedly stealing more than $600 in items and alcohol from Jewel, 411 Green Bay Road. One arrestee was also charged with battery to a police officer and resisting arrest and the other with obstructing a peace officer.

WINNETKA

May 12

• Multiple checks mailed between Jan. 21-May 12 reportedly were stolen, altered and cashed for a total of $4,083.17.

May 10

• A check mailed between April 30-May 9 reportedly was stolen, altered and cashed for an amount exceeding $5,000.

• A check mailed between April 2-7 reportedly was stolen, altered and cashed for $4,000.

HIGHLAND PARK

May 11

• Two items reportedly were stolen from Elm Place School, 2031 Sheridan Road.

GLENCOE

May 16

• A fourth individual reportedly was arrested in connection with a residential burglary from Oct. 2022.

May 15

• A resident ordered an iPhone online and reportedly received an empty box.

NORTHFIELD

May 12

• A mailed check reportedly was stolen, altered and cashed.

May 10

• A mailed check reportedly was stolen, altered and cashed.

May 8

• A home reportedly was burglarized sometime “in the past couple of months” in the 300 block of Regent Wood Drive.

KENILWORTH

No activity reported between May 12-19
