1. Do you could have pregame rituals or superstitions?

I’ve got a pair. I used to should eat the identical meal before every game, but then I got hurt and I took that one away. I attempt to take a nap before every game but that doesn’t work on a regular basis.

2. What are your plans for next 12 months?

I’m going to Miami of Ohio. It was between there and Boulder (Colorado) and has been since I used to be like 12 years old. Considered one of my older sisters went to Boulder and one to Miami. I visited each a pair times and ultimately just decided Miami was a greater fit for me. I really like Oxford (Ohio) and the varsity is pretty and has great resources.

3. What’s your favorite thing to do off the ice?

Hanging out with friends family. I’m a really social person and wish to be energetic rather a lot, wish to be outside.

4. Who’s your favorite athlete?

It was once Cristiano Ronaldo and quickly converted once I was younger to Duncan Keith (Chicago Blackhawks — retired). I began to like Patrick Shaw (Chicago Blackhawks — retired) too because I like how aggressive he was.

5. Should you could play one other sport, what wouldn’t it be?

Football. 100%. I feel it’s such a sweet sport. Friday night lights and all that I find so cool. Football could be very physical and I’m a fan of physical sports.

6. What could be your last meal?

Something that involves chicken probably. I’m an enormous chicken guy.

7. Should you’re in Walgreens with a pair bucks, what are you purchasing?

A giant Smart Water that can last me some time throughout the day. Attempt to get my gallon a day.

8. What’s something people don’t learn about you?

I recently revealed to everyone I do know that I can juggle. And I’m actually pretty good at drawing. That’s my hidden talent. I’m a fairly good sketcher. Just random stuff. I wish to draw mountains. That’s probably what i’m best at.

9. What do you like about hockey?

The constant pace of the sport is so intriguing to me. I find there’s nothing higher than having the ability to play a sport which you could skate at 24 mph and run right into a guy at full speed and also you get props for that. It’s difficult to attain, the sensation of constructing an excellent pass, and the locker room has got to be top-of-the-line parts of hockey — attending to know guys in 20-minute increments, attending to know a gaggle of men that I wouldn’t know outside of hockey.

10. How does it feel to finish highschool with a state championship?

It feels unreal. There isn’t any higher feeling on this planet. It’s such an extended season, simply to be rewarded like that at the top of the season, there’s no higher feeling. It really just shows all of the exertions you’ve put in all 12 months.
