MORTON GROVE, Ill. — A body was discovered near train tracks in Morton Grove overnight.
A Metra spokesperson said the body was discovered near Beckwith Road and Lehigh Avenue overnight. A train personnel spotted the body and alerted authorities but were not involved in the incident.
A freight train passed through the area before the body was discovered but its involvement has not been confirmed yet.
There is no other information and the incident is under investigation.
